According to the National Domestic Violence Hotline, an average of 24 people per minute are victims of rape, physical violence or stalking by an intimate partner in the United States. That is more than 12 million women and men over the course of a single year. On December 5, 2020, HGG says NO MORE. We are partnering with the international charity NO MORE to raise awareness and funds to combat domestic violence. NO MORE is dedicated to ending domestic violence and sexual assault by increasing awareness, inspiring action and fueling culture change.

February 22-23, 2020

In February of 2020, HGG partnered with the World Wide Fund For Nature Australia, a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of environment and wildlife. This event was centered around the bushfire emergency in Australia, which resulted in 12 million hectares of Australian land being burned, 32 lives being lost, over 2700 homes lost, and an estimated 1.25 billion animals being killed. All donations went toward WWF’s efforts to help with this emergency via wildlife response, habitat restoration for people and nature, and future-proofing Australia.

September 14-15, 2019

September is World Suicide Awareness month, and in order to assist with such an important subject, HGG partnered with To Write Love On Her Arms (TWLOHA) for a 24-hour stream in order to raise funds dedicated to helping those who are struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. During the streams, it was evident that the community was drawn together by personal experiences, and the event not only was extremely successful but gave viewers and streamers a chance to dig deep and have a place to share their stories. It is fair to say that this event impacted everyone involved on a more emotional and supportive level than could have possibly been anticipated. Our initial goal for this event was $2,000 and we totaled $2,849.44 in Tiltify donations at the end of the event. We could not have accomplished this without the support of our team, the community, TWLOHA, and everyone who assisted in spreading awareness on social media. Special thanks to the gaming communities for Tom Clancy’s The Division, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands; and Call of Duty for making games that gives us the opportunity to make a difference.

June 29-30, 2019

Mental health is important for everyone. There are struggles in life that may occur, where one might find themselves needing help. More importantly having access to these vital services is why HGG decided to focus on the Rise Above The Disorder (RAD) charity for this event. The threat is real, and it prevents a normal daily schedule, wellbeing, and can even cost life for some. Rise Above the Disorder has a mission to provide support, education; and resources for those in need of mental health services. To help support this amazing cause, we dedicated two days and 24 hours to raising funds and awareness for RAD on the HGG Twitch channel. Our initial goal was to raise $2,500, which was met by the end of day two. RAD recently has access to open a clinic in Los Angeles to expand services to those in need and has stated that they plan to place a mural for HGG at the clinic in honor of our help. We consider this event a complete success and couldn’t have done it without the combined efforts of all members, the amazing team at The Noble Streamer, the staff who work tirelessly at RAD and all the community members who support us.

February 1, 2019

February is American Heart Awareness Month, a time to honor those affected by heart disease. In support of this time, HGG hosted a 24-hour charity stream dedicated to raising funds for Heart to Heart International on the Division HGG Twitch channel. Our initial goal was to raise $1,500, and this goal was easily surpassed within the first quarter of the 24-hour period. By the end of the stream, HGG had raised a total of $5,333.70 for Heart to Heart International. We couldn't have done it without the support of the Tom Clancy's The Division community and our HGG members, who streamed, served as mods, helped coordinate the event, donated, spread awareness on social media, and showed support in many other ways. We consider this event to have been wildly successful and couldn't have asked for a better start to HGG's charity event series.
